PRODUCT QUESTIONS
How durable are the instruments?
IMPAC has been manufacturing instruments since 1982. Many original instruments are still in use. The ArthroStim® and VibraCussor® Instruments come with 4-year, parts and labor, warranties that cover the cost of repairs in the (unlikely) event service becomes necessary.
How 'user friendly' are the instruments?
The ArthroStim® and VibraCussor® Instruments are very user friendly. The
instrument kits contain instructional materials to acquaint practitioners
with their use.
What if I have little training using instruments?
Many practitioners who purchase the ArthroStim® and/ or the VibraCussor® Instrument(s) have limited backgrounds in instrument assisted techniques. Most often a practitioner will start off using their standard assessment procedures to identify subluxations/ somatic lesions/ dysfunctional areas and simply apply the instrument(s) rather than using a ‘hands-only’ approach. The majority of practitioners quickly develop a level of proficiency that exceeds their initial expectations using this approach. Practitioners often go on to obtain specialized training in the use of the instruments through seminars and other educational resources available through IMPAC Inc.
I am a ‘hands-only’ practitioner and I already get good results. What benefits do instruments have to offer me?
Just as your hands can do things that can’t be duplicated by instruments, instruments can do things that your hands are not able to do. One of the greatest benefits of the ArthroStim® and/ or VibraCussor® is that they do a great deal of the work for the practitioner. These instruments not only reduce the amount of effort the practitioner must invest to resolve conditions, they also reduce ‘wear and tear’ on the practitioner’s body. This helps a practitioner to retain more energy at the end of a busy day and acts as a long term insurance policy to protect against physical burnout.
The ArthroStim® and VibraCussor® instruments also help a practitioner to manage conditions in a very comfortable manner for the patient. Young and elderly patients, sensitive individuals and clients in acute pain especially appreciate this comfort factor. If you are proficient in BOTH hands-on techniques and in instrument assisted procedures you will be able to address conditions in a wider variety of ways.
